Recap of 9/20 and the Geicky Awards

As for the recap...well Sunday was the unofficial last outdoor session for a bunch of us as we are moving indoors (thank God...I am really not enjoying the outdoor courts).  Missing in action....Big Steve (still on tour with the band).  Big Jeff (Sharon!!!! you might not get this one).  Joe (knicks shirt was in the wash), etc, etc.

Not much else to report, other than I seem to be getting more trash talk during the games from opponents due to the blog (ie. Put that in the blog during a block of one of my shots.  Thanks Scott!!!), so let's get to the Geicky awards:  I thought long and hard on these so let's get right to it.

Geicky awards for the all star team and MVP based on number of appearances:
1. Larry (the point guard, non-customs, the other larry)
2. Ray (the man can light it up when the courts are wet)
3. Scott (I guess losing 65 lbs doesn't hurt)  - MVP and MIP
4. Paul  Benj (Mr. 110%, unlike myself on Sundays)
5. Bob the Legend (lb for lb Mr. fundamental)

  1. nice work on the blog and the awards. I think we all agree that hoops on Sunday's is a lot more fun than housework. Lets have fun tomorrow, being the last outdoor Sunday of the season!
